ThermoWood or thermo-treated wood has already been penetrating the market for a number of years. But so far there hasn\u2019t been a Class B-s1,d0 fire retardant for ThermoWood that could be applied without pressure treatment. But all this does not turn thermowood fire-proof.<br \/>\nThermo-treated wood suits well for interior and exterior cladding, terraces and floors, furniture and furnishing. But being a wood with altered properties means also that making thermowood fire-proof requires a specific fire retardant, tested and certified on thermowood. The certificates issued for regular wood do not apply on thermowood.<br \/>\nUltra-TW is first fire retardant impregnant that does not require pressure treatment. It can be applied on thermowood with spray, roller, brush or immersion, and also with coating machine.<br \/>\nTreating with Ultra-TW does not alter the appearance of thermally modified wood.
